Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in a small bowl and allow it to cool slightly.
While butter is cooling melt milk chocolate chips as well.
Once butter has cooled, whisk butter, oil, and sugar together in a large mixing bowl for about 30 seconds until it is mixed together well.
Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract for about 1 minute until it is smooth.
Whisk in melted chocolate about 30 seconds until it is completely combined.
Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold this in with a rubber spatula until everything is all combined.
Pour batter into an 8 x 8 inch pan that has been greased and lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the oven for 25-28 mins until you can stick a toothpick in, and it comes out clean.
Let the brownies cool before cutting them.
