Marinade:
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Mix Marinade: In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and zest, oregano, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill if using.
- Marinate Chicken: Add chicken to the marinade, coat thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat Grill: Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade, shake off excess, grill or sear for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Rest and Serve: Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with pita, salad, or rice.

- For a lighter version, use low-fat Greek yogurt.
