Description

Marinade:

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix Marinade: In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and zest, oregano, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill if using.
  2. Marinate Chicken: Add chicken to the marinade, coat thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat Grill: Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade, shake off excess, grill or sear for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  5. Rest and Serve: Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with pita, salad, or rice.
