- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk (for brushing)
Instructions
- Prepare Yeast Mixture: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5–10 minutes.
- Mix Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, condensed milk, egg, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Rise: Let dough rise covered for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
- Shape and Rise: Divide dough, shape into logs, place in loaf pan, and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Brush dough with milk, bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and hollow-sounding.
- Cool: Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
