Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Toppings

  • Extra mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix the Dip: In a large bowl, combine the thawed and thoroughly drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, sour cream, mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, and minced garlic. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything well until fully incorporated and creamy.
  3. Bake: Transfer the combined mixture into the prepared baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula and sprinkle extra mozzarella or Parmesan cheese on top if desired for a golden crust. Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until it’s hot, bubbly, and the cheese on top is melted and golden brown.
  4. Serve: Carefully remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly for a couple of minutes. Optionally, garnish with chopped parsley to add a fresh burst of flavor and color.
  5. Enjoy: Serve the warm spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips, toasted bread slices, crackers, or fresh cut vegetables for dipping and enjoy this comforting appetizer with family and friends.

Notes

  • Make sure to thoroughly drain the thawed spinach to avoid a watery dip.
  • For an extra cheesy topping, feel free to add more mozzarella or Parmesan before baking.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture ahead and refrigerate before baking to save time.
  • Serve immediately after baking for the best warm and melty texture.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated gently in the oven or microwave.
