Ingredients
Scale
Dough
- 1 loaf refrigerated pizza dough
Spinach Artichoke Dip Filling
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained & chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a bundt pan generously to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal of the bread after baking.
- Mix Dip: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. Then fold in shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, chopped fresh spinach, and chopped drained artichoke hearts until evenly incorporated.
- Prepare Dough: Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough onto a clean surface. Cut the dough into approximately 2-inch squares using a knife or pizza cutter for uniformity.
- Fill Dough: Place a spoonful of the spinach artichoke filling onto the center of each dough square. Carefully fold and pinch the corners of each square together, forming a sealed ball to encase the filling.
- Layer: Arrange the filled dough balls evenly inside the greased bundt pan, placing them close together but not overcrowded, to allow the bread to rise and bake uniformly.
- Bake: Bake the bundt pan in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the bread balls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Once baked, allow the bread to cool slightly, then invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm, allowing guests to pull apart the cheesy, flavorful bread bites.
Notes
- For best results, ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature to allow easy mixing.
- You can substitute fresh spinach with frozen spinach, thoroughly drained and chopped.
- To add extra flavor, consider mixing in a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for some heat.
- If you don’t have a bundt pan, a deep round cake pan or cast iron skillet can work as alternatives.
- This bread is best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven to restore softness.
