Cookie Dough:

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Prepare Coating: In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon for coating.
- Shape and Coat: Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls, coat each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture, and place on baking sheets.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Cool and Serve: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
