- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¾ teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
For the BBQ Sauce:
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1½ cups ketchup
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Prepare the Ribs: Mix the dry rub ingredients and coat the beef ribs.
- Make the BBQ Sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients in a baking dish.
- Cook the Ribs: Bake the ribs covered for 3½ hours, then uncovered for 30 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Let the ribs rest before serving.
Notes
- For a charred finish, briefly broil the ribs at the end.
