  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the Linguini: Prepare linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain.
  2. Prepare Garlic Butter: In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink; set aside.
  4. Create Sauce: Deglaze the pan with wine or broth and lemon juice. Simmer, then add butter. Return shrimp and linguini to the skillet.
  5. Finish and Serve: Toss to combine, adding pasta water if needed. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.
