Description

This quick and refreshing mango iced tea is the perfect drink for a hot summer day. Made with fresh mango puree and black tea, it’s sweet, fruity, and incredibly thirst-quenching.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Mango Puree:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Iced Tea:

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar, or to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the Mango Puree: In a blender, combine the diced mangoes and water. Blend until smooth. Strain the puree to remove any fibers or chunks.
  2. Prepare the Tea: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in honey or sugar until dissolved.
  3. Combine: In a pitcher, mix the mango puree with the brewed tea. Stir well to combine.
  4. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the mango iced tea until cold. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness of the iced tea by adding more or less honey/sugar according to your preference.
  • Feel free to customize this recipe by adding a splash of lemon juice for a tangy twist.
