  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the maple glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
