  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, sugars, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine & Bake: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, stir until just combined. Pour into pan, bake 55–65 mins.
  5. Cool & Serve: Let bread cool in pan for 10 mins, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • You can add 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
  • This bread tastes even better the next day once the flavors have developed.
