Asparagus
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare for roasting.
- Prepare Tomatoes: In a bowl, toss together the halved or quartered cherry tomatoes with minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then set aside to marinate.
- Prep Asparagus: Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus and place the spears in a bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Toss until evenly coated, then arrange the asparagus evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the shaved parmesan evenly over the asparagus on the baking sheet. Then, spoon the prepared tomato mixture on top of the asparagus and parmesan.
- Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the tomatoes are slightly blistered.
- Final Touches: Remove the roasted asparagus and tomatoes from the oven. Sprinkle the thinly sliced basil leaves over the top and drizzle generously with balsamic reduction. Serve immediately while hot for the best flavor.
