Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare crust mixture: In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley (if using).
- Coat the cod fillets: Brush each cod fillet with olive oil or melted butter, then press the top of each piece into the Parmesan mixture to form a thick, even crust.
- Bake: Place the fillets crust-side up on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden and crisp.
