Ingredients
Scale
Croissant Rolls
- 1 package (8 rolls) croissants
Filling
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 20 slices pepperoni
Seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it is ready for baking the croissants evenly.
- Unroll Croissants: Unroll the croissant dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, laying out all triangles flat and ready for filling.
- Add Filling: On each croissant triangle, place a portion of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2-3 slices of pepperoni, leaving the edges of the dough clear to make rolling easier.
- Season: Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning evenly over the cheese and pepperoni fillings for enhanced flavor.
- Roll Croissants: Starting from the wide end of each triangle, tightly roll the dough towards the pointed tip to encase the filling securely.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the rolls for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the croissants are puffed up and golden brown.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the croissant rolls cool slightly before serving. Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving for extra flavor.
Notes
- Make sure not to overfill the croissants as it may cause the filling to leak during baking.
- You can substitute pepperoni with other deli meats or add vegetables like sliced bell peppers for variation.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container and reheat gently before serving.
- For a crispier texture, brush the croissant rolls with a little melted butter before baking.
