Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Filling:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup water

Wrap Assembly:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo or finely chopped tomatoes and onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil (optional for warming)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  3. Prepare the Wraps: Warm tortillas until soft. Place beef, cheese, and pico de gallo on each tortilla.
  4. Wrap and Cook: Fold the tortilla, roll tightly, and optionally warm in a skillet with butter or oil.
  5. Serve: Enjoy your homemade MexiMelts!

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
