Juicy beef patties seasoned with Italian herbs, topped with a rich ricotta-Parmesan mixture, marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese, all nestled between lasagna noodles. This Lasagna Burger will surely impress your taste buds!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For Assembly:

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 4 lasagna noodle sheets, cooked and drained
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Burger Patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Form into 4 equal burger patties.
  2. Cooking Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  3. Preparation: While burgers are cooking, combine ricotta and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl. Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Assembly: Toast hamburger buns lightly, if desired. Place a cooked lasagna noodle on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a burger patty, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, ricotta-Parmesan mixture, and fresh basil leaves. Cover with the second half of the bun.
  5. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy your Lasagna Burger!

Notes

  • You can broil the assembled burgers for 1–2 minutes to melt the mozzarella fully.
  • Add sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
