Description

These Honey Garlic Salmon Bites are a perfect balance of sweet and savory, with tender salmon pieces coated in a sticky honey garlic sauce. Quick to make and bursting with flavor, this dish is ideal for a delicious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon Bites:

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and cut into 1‑inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

Garnish:

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season Salmon: Pat salmon pieces dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Sear Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and nearly cooked through.
  4. Add Sauce: Reduce heat, pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon. Toss gently and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Use skinless salmon for best results.
  • Do not overcook to keep the salmon tender and juicy.
  • Add a splash of sriracha for extra heat or swap soy sauce for tamari to make it gluten-free.
