Scale
Main Ingredients
- 3 cloves (about 9 g) garlic, minced
- 1 cup (150 g) white onion, chopped
- 1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef
- 3 cups (270 g) broccoli florets, chopped small
- 1 cup (240 ml) honey garlic sauce
To Serve
- 4 cups (640 g) cooked rice
Instructions
- Sauté Garlic and Onion: In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 cup of chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic releases its aroma, approximately 1–2 minutes.
- Cook Ground Beef: Add 1 lb of lean ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until no longer pink, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add Broccoli: Stir in 3 cups of chopped broccoli florets. Cook for 3–4 minutes, until the broccoli is crisp-tender and can be pierced easily with a fork.
- Add Honey Garlic Sauce: Pour 1 cup of honey garlic sauce evenly over the beef and broccoli mixture. Stir well to coat all the ingredients. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until the sauce is heated through and the broccoli reaches your desired tenderness.
- Serve: Spoon 4 cups of cooked rice into serving bowls. Top with the honey garlic ground beef and broccoli mixture. Serve immediately.
