- black gel food coloring
Witch Hats:
- 12 chocolate sugar cones
- 12 round chocolate cookies (like fudge-striped cookies or Oreos)
- assorted sprinkles or candy decorations
- colored frosting or candy melts for hat trim (orange, green, or purple)
Instructions
- Prepare Cupcakes: Preheat the oven and prepare the chocolate cupcake batter according to the package instructions. Bake and let cool.
- Make Frosting: Beat butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream until fluffy. Color with black gel food coloring.
- Decorate: Frost cupcakes, create witch hats with cones and cookies, decorate hats, and place one on each cupcake.
Notes
- Use dark cocoa powder for a deeper cupcake color.
- If black frosting is challenging, start with chocolate frosting and add black food gel.
