Ground Beef Stroganoff:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Additional:

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sauté onion, add garlic, then brown ground beef.
  2. Cook the Mushrooms: Add mushrooms, cook until tender.
  3. Thicken the Sauce: Sprinkle flour, pour in broth, add Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Finish the Dish: Stir in sour cream, season, and serve over rice. Garnish with parsley.
