Ground Beef Stroganoff:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Additional:
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sauté onion, add garlic, then brown ground beef.
- Cook the Mushrooms: Add mushrooms, cook until tender.
- Thicken the Sauce: Sprinkle flour, pour in broth, add Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Simmer until thickened.
- Finish the Dish: Stir in sour cream, season, and serve over rice. Garnish with parsley.
