- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the crust: Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the dish to form a crust.
- Caramelize onions: In a skillet, cook onions with butter, olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, and sugar until golden brown.
- Combine ingredients: Remove from heat, cool slightly, then mix in sour cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Assemble and bake: Spread the onion mixture over the crust and bake for 18–22 minutes until set.
- Serve: Cool, cut into squares, and garnish with parsley if desired.
