Gnocchi:

Bolognese Sauce:

- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup whole milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil Water: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened.
- Cook Meat: Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until browned.
- Add Tomato: Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and oregano. Simmer until thickened.
- Finish Sauce: Stir in milk or cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer briefly.
- Cook Gnocchi: Cook gnocchi in boiling water, then add to the sauce.
- Serve: Top with Parmesan and herbs. Serve hot.
