French Onion Soup Mixture:

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Toppings:
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Gruyère cheese for topping (optional)
- Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare Rice Mixture: In a 2-quart baking dish, combine the uncooked rice, French onion soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine evenly.
- Add Butter: Dot the top of the mixture with butter pieces.
- Bake: Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 40–45 minutes until the rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
- Fluff Rice: Remove from the oven and gently fluff the rice with a fork.
