- 8 oz cream cheese (softened and cubed)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken: Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add chicken broth, cream cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Combine and cook: Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover and cook for 3–4 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
