Ingredients
Scale
Dough
- 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
Filling
- 4 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary (optional)
Other
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch together the seams to form a single sheet. Cut the dough evenly into 24 squares.
- Line Muffin Cups: Press each dough square into the bottom and up the sides of each mini muffin cup, creating a small dough cup to hold the filling.
- Add Brie Cheese: Place one small cube of Brie cheese into the bottom of each dough cup.
- Top with Cranberry Sauce: Spoon a small amount of whole berry cranberry sauce over the Brie in each cup.
- Add Optional Toppings: If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans and fresh rosemary on top for added texture and flavor.
- Bake: Bake the bites in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bites to cool for about 5 minutes, then carefully remove them from the muffin tin. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- To remove the rind from Brie easily, refrigerate the cheese before cutting.
- For a nut-free version, omit the pecans.
- Fresh rosemary adds a fragrant herbal note, but you can substitute with thyme or skip entirely.
- Make sure to press the dough firmly into the muffin cups to prevent leakage while baking.
- These bites can be made ahead and gently reheated before serving.
