Description

Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries:

1 pound, rinsed and dried completely;

Semi-Sweet or Dark Chocolate:

8 ounces, chopped (or chocolate chips);

Optional Toppings:

crushed nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, or white chocolate drizzle


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate: Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler to melt the chocolate.
  2. Dip the Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem or use a toothpick to dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the berry. Let excess chocolate drip off, then place the strawberry on the prepared baking sheet. If using toppings, sprinkle them on before the chocolate sets.
  3. Add Decorative Drizzle: For an optional decorative touch, melt white chocolate and drizzle it over the dipped berries using a spoon or piping bag.
  4. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the strawberries for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set fully. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
