For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Sauce:
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
For Serving:
- 1 pound angel hair pasta, cooked
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix until mostly smooth.
- Cook the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot, pour the sauce over them. Cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until tender.
- Finish and Serve: Shred the chicken, stir the sauce, and spoon over cooked pasta. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs for extra tenderness.
- Try adding mushrooms or spinach for more flavor and texture.
