Scale
Base Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup sour cream
Cheeses and Seasonings
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Veggies
- ⅓ cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 6 ounces spinach, thawed and drained
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it ready for baking the dip. Spray a 1-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking and set it aside.
- Combine Cream Cheese and Sour Cream: In a medium bowl, add the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Using a hand mixer, blend these together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- Add Cheese and Seasonings: Stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring all ingredients are well combined for maximum flavor.
- Fold in Tomatoes and Spinach: Gently fold in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and thawed, drained spinach. Mix until evenly distributed without breaking down the veggies.
- Bake: Spread the creamy mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the dip is heated through and bubbly on top.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the dip warm alongside sliced bread, a baguette, or your favorite crackers for dipping.
Notes
- Make sure to fully thaw and drain the spinach to avoid excess moisture in the dip.
- Use good-quality sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil for enhanced flavor.
- This dip can be prepared a day ahead and baked just before serving.
- For added heat, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes in the cheese mixture.
- Leftover dip can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
