Dough
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Assemble the bundles: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place a generous spoonful of the chicken filling onto the wider end of each triangle. Carefully roll up each triangle starting from the wide end to form a bundle, making sure the filling is enclosed within the dough.
- Brush with butter and add topping: Place each chicken bundle on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of each bundle with melted butter. If desired, sprinkle the seasoned bread crumbs evenly over the top of the bundles for a crispy finish.
