  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Topping:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a saucepan, combine peaches, ½ cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat.

  3. Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
