- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
For the Mousse Layer:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Topping:
- Shaved chocolate or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare Brownie Layer: Melt butter, add sugar, eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Bake for 20-22 minutes.
- Make Mousse Layer: Melt chocolate chips, beat cream with sugar and vanilla, fold in melted chocolate. Spread over cooled brownie layer.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with shaved chocolate or cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
- For extra texture, add chopped nuts or chocolate chunks to the brownie batter.
