  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub each breast with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano.
  3. Sprinkle seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of chicken. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish or on a sheet pan.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove from oven, cover loosely with foil, and rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For juicier chicken, pound breasts to an even thickness before seasoning.
