- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Rub each breast with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano.
- Sprinkle seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of chicken. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish or on a sheet pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove from oven, cover loosely with foil, and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For juicier chicken, pound breasts to an even thickness before seasoning.
- You can also grill over medium-high heat for 6–7 minutes per side instead of baking.
