- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
For Assembly:
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Ketchup and mustard for dipping
Instructions
- Cook the Filling: In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat, mix in cheese and pickles.
- Assemble the Egg Rolls: Place filling on egg roll wrapper, fold bottom up, then sides in, and roll tightly, sealing with water.
- Fry the Egg Rolls: Heat oil to 350°F, fry egg rolls until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with ketchup and mustard.
Notes
- For a lighter version, bake at 400°F for 18–20 minutes or air-fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.
- You can swap cheddar for American cheese or add cooked bacon for a bacon cheeseburger twist.
