Description

These homemade cereal bars are a delightful combination of crispy rice cereal, hearty oats, sweet honey, creamy peanut butter, and a touch of chocolate chips for a satisfying snack that’s perfect for any time of day.

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 ½ cups old-fashioned oats

Wet Ingredients:

  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Optional Add-Ins:

  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts or dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine cereal and oats in a bowl.
  3. Prepare Wet Mixture: Heat honey, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla and salt.
