Ingredients

Scale

Slider Ingredients

  • 12 small slider buns
  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking the assembled sliders.
  2. Prepare Buns: Cut the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves together for easy assembly.
  3. Scramble Eggs: In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Crack in the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and scramble them gently. Cook until they are soft and just set, then remove from heat.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish. On each, layer scrambled eggs, a slice of crispy bacon, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
  5. Top Buns: Place the top halves of the slider buns over the layered ingredients to close the sliders.
  6. Butter and Maple Glaze: Brush the tops of the buns with the remaining melted butter and drizzle with maple syrup if using for added sweetness.
  7. Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns turn golden brown.
  8. Garnish: Remove from oven, uncover, and sprinkle chopped green onions on top if desired to add flavor and color.
  9. Serve: Serve the breakfast sliders warm for a hearty and delicious start to your day.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding a slice of tomato or avocado inside the sliders.
  • You can substitute cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese like Swiss or pepper jack.
  • Maple syrup is optional but adds a nice sweet contrast to the savory sliders.
  • Use turkey bacon as a leaner alternative to pork bacon.
  • These sliders can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
