Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in mix-ins: Fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, pretzels, toffee bits, M&M’s, coconut, and nuts if using.
- Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain slightly soft.
- Cool and enjoy: Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
