- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup vanilla pudding, prepared and chilled
- 1 cup whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon honey or granulated sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins
- 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
Other
- Nonstick spray for molds
Instructions
- Mash Bananas: In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth, ensuring no large chunks remain for a creamy texture.
- Combine Mixture: Stir in the prepared vanilla pudding, whipped topping, honey (if using), and vanilla extract until fully combined, creating a smooth and creamy mixture.
- Add Texture: Fold in the crushed vanilla wafers if desired, to add a pleasant crunch to the pops.
- Prepare Molds: Lightly spray the popsicle molds with nonstick spray to facilitate easy removal later.
- Fill Molds: Spoon the banana pudding mixture evenly into each mold, ensuring they are filled to the top.
- Insert Sticks & Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours or until completely firm.
- Release & Serve: To release the pops, briefly run the molds under warm water and gently pull out each pop. Serve immediately or store in the freezer for later enjoyment.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use sugar-free pudding and light whipped topping.
- You can add mini chocolate chips or swirl in peanut butter before freezing for extra flavor.
- Make sure to fully chill the pudding before mixing for best texture.
- If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups with wooden sticks can work as substitutes.
