Description

Banana Pudding Pops are a delicious and refreshing no-bake frozen dessert made with ripe bananas, creamy vanilla pudding, and whipped topping. Perfect for summer treats, these popsicles combine smooth pudding with optional vanilla wafer crunch for a nostalgic twist on classic banana pudding.

Ingredients

Scale

Banana Pudding Mixture

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding, prepared and chilled
  • 1 cup whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon honey or granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers

Other

  • Nonstick spray for molds

Instructions

  1. Mash Bananas: In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth, ensuring no large chunks remain for a creamy texture.
  2. Combine Mixture: Stir in the prepared vanilla pudding, whipped topping, honey (if using), and vanilla extract until fully combined, creating a smooth and creamy mixture.
  3. Add Texture: Fold in the crushed vanilla wafers if desired, to add a pleasant crunch to the pops.
  4. Prepare Molds: Lightly spray the popsicle molds with nonstick spray to facilitate easy removal later.
  5. Fill Molds: Spoon the banana pudding mixture evenly into each mold, ensuring they are filled to the top.
  6. Insert Sticks & Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours or until completely firm.
  7. Release & Serve: To release the pops, briefly run the molds under warm water and gently pull out each pop. Serve immediately or store in the freezer for later enjoyment.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use sugar-free pudding and light whipped topping.
  • You can add mini chocolate chips or swirl in peanut butter before freezing for extra flavor.
  • Make sure to fully chill the pudding before mixing for best texture.
  • If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups with wooden sticks can work as substitutes.
