Ingredients
Scale
For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
For the Honey Mustard Sauce:
- ½ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For Garnish:
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Cook the Chicken: Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased baking dish and pour the sauce evenly over them, turning to coat both sides. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the sauce is slightly thickened.
- Finish and Serve: Spoon the sauce over the chicken before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey mustard sauce for 1–2 hours before baking.
- Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier dish.
