- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Apple Filling:
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
Additional:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Nonstick spray or extra butter for cooking
Instructions
- Cream Cheese Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Apple Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add sliced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt. Cook for 5–7 minutes until apples are tender and caramelized. Remove from heat.
- Assemble: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over two tortillas. Layer the sautéed apples on top, then cover with the remaining tortillas to form quesadillas.
- Cook: Lightly grease a clean skillet with nonstick spray or butter and cook each quesadilla over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

- Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts or drizzle with extra maple syrup for more texture and sweetness.
